For private individuals, passenger cars carry a customs duty and excise that depend on engine size and car age, plus 12% VAT. A recycling fee has been introduced, but its rates are significantly lower than the Russian ones. We calculate an exact quote from the VIN and year before the deal begins.

The standard route — Busan → Vladivostok → rail to the Saryagash border crossing or the Gishtkuprik road crossing. Transit through Russia takes around 8–12 days depending on rail load. The transit declaration is filed via our partners, so there are usually no hold-ups at the border.
