Uzbekistan is one of the fastest-growing car markets in the CIS, and demand for Korean brands here is traditionally high. We deliver Hyundai, Kia, Genesis and premium brands to Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana and other major cities. The route runs through Russian ports with onward rail transit, and clearance follows the Uzbek customs code with the 2026 rates.

We book a RoRo sailing to Vladivostok. An alternative for large batches is container shipping via Novorossiysk.

Rail transit to the border
The car travels by rail to the border terminal with Uzbekistan (usually Saryagash / Tashkent) via partner carriers — timing is approximate. EAEU transit declaration.
Customs clearance in Uzbekistan
Customs clearance in Tashkent: duty, excise, VAT and the recycling fee at the 2026 rates. Registration via UzAvtoMotors / the traffic police.
Delivery within Uzbekistan
Car carrier or under its own power to Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Andijan or Fergana via partner carriers — timing is approximate. Handover at an agreed point with a certificate.

For private individuals, passenger cars carry a customs duty and excise that depend on engine size and car age, plus 12% VAT. A recycling fee has been introduced, but its rates are significantly lower than the Russian ones. We calculate an exact quote from the VIN and year before the deal begins.
The standard route — Busan → Vladivostok → rail to the Saryagash border crossing or the Gishtkuprik road crossing. Transit through Russia takes around 8–12 days depending on rail load. The transit declaration is filed via our partners, so there are usually no hold-ups at the border.
Yes. The Hyundai Ioniq 5/6, Kia EV6/EV9 and Genesis GV60 are imported regularly. Reduced customs rates apply to EVs in Uzbekistan, which makes Korean electric cars especially attractive. We source to the desired battery condition and certify where needed.

From purchase to handover in Tashkent — around 30–45 days. The fastest deals fit into 28 days; longer ones (45+) happen when waiting for a sailing or for extra certification of rare trims.
