Cars from Korea to Armenia

For electric cars, hybrids and rare trims, clearing in Armenia is cheaper — the quota carries a 0% duty and a VAT exemption. But if the car then goes to Russia there is no saving: since 1 April 2026 the recycling fee is topped up to Russian rates on registration there. And EVs imported under the EAEU quota of 7 August 2026 may not be transferred to residents of Russia or Kazakhstan at all. Armenia's advantage is for a car that stays in Armenia.

On the main route — via Vladivostok and Russian transit, with a 3–4 day queue at Verkhny Lars. The western option through the Georgian port of Poti runs with a transshipment: there is no direct Korea — Poti service, so the sea leg there is considerably longer. The route is your choice — we price both and show the cost and timing for each. Timings are approximate and depend on schedules and the carrier partner.

As of 2025–2026 Armenia retains zero or reduced rates of import duty and the recycling fee for electric cars. We confirm the current rates when preparing the quote — they may change.

In Yerevan — at the terminal by customs or at the client's address. In Gyumri — by arrangement. Any onward transport is arranged by partner carriers under a direct contract with you.

No. The full cycle — sourcing, customs, registration — is done by power of attorney. The client receives the finished car at the agreed point.
